Pusan International Film Festival 2006
Mono Film Co., Ltd Thailand attended for the first time the official Asian Film Market (AFM) in Pusan, Korea this past October 15-18, 2006.
Assistant to Managing Director quotes, “Coming to Pusan and exhibiting an office really opened up doors to new buyers for Mono Film with the potenetial to become business clients in the future.”
Mono Film exhibited a business office at the Grand Hotel in room #1910 and displayed a 3 minute medley of four film trailers which played all day throughout the market in various locations.

American Film Market (AFM) 2006
Mono Film Co., Ltd attended the American Film Market 2006 at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica, California from November 1-8, 2006. This has marked the third consecutive year that Mono Film has exhibited business offices at the market.
This year Mono Film added another office to their ensemble exhibiting a total of three adjacent offices on the third floor of the Loews Hotel. Offices #312 and #314 were set-up as private screening rooms for clients while #315 was set up as their main office.
Mono Film was content after closing more than a few deals with old and new clients. Presales for their new action projects titled Pahuyut : Fighting Beat were made and Mono Film also acquired a new client from a new territory for them…KOREA.
Many clients that visited the offices were following up from the previous market in Pusan just a month before.

Cannes Film Festival / Marche du Film 2006
This
year at the Marche du Film 2006 in Cannes, Mono Film displayed an extravagant
booth set-up located at the Palais 18.01. This year Mono
Film decided to decorate their booth in theme to promote their new epic-adventure
SIYAMA: Village of Warriors, Mono Film’s big budget film
of 2006.
The
extravagant booth presentation was met with praise and attention by both
buyers and the media which resulted in many interviews with various local
and international journalists and TV programs from different parts of
the world.
In
addition, Mono Film also hosted a casual reception for their clients on
May 23rd at their villa, Le Palais Florentin up on the hills of Cannes.
The turnout was a warm reception allowing the company’s chairman, Mr.
Pete Bodharamik and CEO, Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha,
along with other members of Mono Film to establish a more personal relationship
with their clients. The event was a true success as all the attending
clients left with smiles, proof of a wonderful evening spent.
Two
screenings of the titles VENGEANCE on May 22nd and THE
TIGER BLADE on May 23rd during the market showed a positive turnout
by buyers and guests.
Overall,
Mono Film’s trip to Cannes this year was considered a success because
of the many new contacts made throughout the market, achieving the goal
of establishing stronger relations with their old clients, and attracting
a flow of attention and interest from the crowds of buyers, journalists,
and guests who stopped by to see their customized SIYAMA booth set-up
