When the murder of his father brings Wut back to his hometown, painful memories and secrets come back to haunt him. Old enemies also resurface. Nasor, a deranged prison escapee and psychopath, comes back seeking revenge on Wut, and his father Kongkam. Wut follows Nasor, who lurks in the mystical forest, which is full of haunting memories of the terror that occurred years ago, a terror which took Nasor's father, at the hands of Kongkam.

But the forest is filled with untold evil, and soon Wut and his posse are drawn into a fight for their lives. Dark forces and ancient demons inhabit the eerie jungle and soon starts to devour the group one by one. Wut's quest to bring Nasor to justice is a race against time, a deadly killer, and a battle against an ancient evil out to collect their souls.

Originally, there was another Thai title for this film, but we changed the original title because it has been used for many other films. We decided to go with the Thai title name of "PIREEPINAD"…"PIREE" meaning jungle and "PINAD" meaning a fatal death. So, viewers can kind of guess that this movie has something to do with fatal deaths in the jungle. The Thai title is really a play on words to be exact. VENGEANCE was the choice for an English title being that a lot of the themes in the movie evolve around the concept of revenge.

As director of this film, I’ve put 150% into creating an action adventure story with creatures that are from Thai legends & superstitions. The action and adventure is nonstop between the characters and each set of creatures both being hunters and the hunted. I ensure all viewers will enjoy every minute of this film. With an excellent cast and a professional production team, VENGEANCE is a film you shouldn’t miss!
